Cleveland is still stewing over this whole “Medical Mart” thing. I understand there is a bidding war or a negotiation problem or a site conflict or tax issues (loophole or how we[taxpayers and residents of Cuyahoga County] may be intercoursed over). Maybe it work out and create jobs just like that Euclid Corridor (w/the “Health Line” bus route). Cleveland is accustomed to failure, it is part of our culture.
Cleveland Browns stadium is another fine example of this Cleveland transparency spectre. This structure gets used perhaps eight times a year. (roughly, give or take the NFL calendar) Maybe Billy Graham will come back to town to say some stuff at people, religious stuff. He may need a big ol’ venue such as Cleveland Browns Stadium.
There has been much coverage of this Med Mart phenom. WCPN (local NPR) reports frequently on all the trials and tribulations of all the cast of characters involved therein. It is such a depressing account to hear all the possible sites for this albotross. The Flats, Tower City, the Covention Center and blah, blah, blah…..These sites, all failures. Real shame.Tweet
Medical Mart in Cleveland??? Maybe.
