Well, it is time (this evening) for the final debate between Obama and mc cain.
I still feel nervous about this whole thing. I realize that Obama is ahead in the polls, but it does not stop the strange and unexpected. It may be too late for the republican’ts to attempt a “swift-boat” style attack. At this point, any such attempt may be viewed as a fabrication or sensational ploy. F**K them.
What really bothers me though, is that one of my friends is afraid to display an Obama yard sign on his property. He feels that the would be endangering his family. I told him to be proud of his beliefs and that if you are afraid of your neighbors, perhaps you have made a mistake of living where you do. Be a fighter.
He reminded me how my city councilman and family fell victim to arson not to long ago. However, that was a separate set of circumstances, from what can be gathered in the rumor mill (of Cleveland’s west side).
Cleveland should be a place where one can be proud of one’s political beliefs, regardless of which neighborhood you live in.
Keep the faith!
